Webinar Recap:

Recorded August 17, 2011

There is a new capability in business acumen—a keenness and quickness at understanding and acting on changing business dynamics and the potential of innovation. The influence and careers of those who have it are growing. A new divide is at work.

In this webinar you will learn how to systematically and effectively build this acumen, get on the right side of the divide, and support people at all levels of the company to do so as well. Talent leaders are called upon to be innovators — taking the lead in shifting organizational priorities to provide a better environment for recruiting, developing and retaining people. Dr. Todor will offer ways to support your role as a change agent — with tools you can share with others.

Everyone is overloaded with information. Leaders need to think beyond content, and to organize their own thinking in order to influence others. A mindshift is involved¾enhancing the ability to see the implications and new possibilities, not just learning explicit material.

You will learn how to put psychological principles of accommodating to change into action. You will see how to use social software to turn information overload into new insights, how to manage new ideas and curate these ideas so they make sense and how to build and leverage a networked brain trust so you can learn quickly from others. Change is a reality! This webinar presents a system for engaging this reality, building adaptive potential and increasing ones present and future value.

Dr.Todor will be interviewed by Future of Talent’s Anne Hill, a broadcaster and writer for Huffington Post.
